OUR SERVICES

Swedish Massage

Full body relaxation massage aids the body in improving circulation, focuses on relaxing the body, and helps reduce overall stress and tension. Using long gliding strokes throughout the body, the primary purpose is to help relax tight areas and make you feel renewed! If you are suffering from general aches and pains, mental/physical stress or decreased muscle flexibility, this is a an excellent option.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue is a more therapeutic approach to massage using deep pressure and soothing, longer strokes, tailored to each clients specific needs and preferences. Deep tissue massage works to eliminate sore, aching muscles which can cause slight discomfort during the massage. Client feedback during the session is necessary in order for the LMT to gauge proper pressure needed.

Target Massage

Targeted treatments involve a shorter session with great benefits. Choose the area you'd like to focus on, whether it be back, upper body (neck & shoulders), lower body (legs, glutes, and thighs).

What is a full body massage?

As the name would suggest, a full-body massage works your entire body from top to toe. This means your massage therapist will be using a range of different movements, techniques and levels of pressure to relieve tension and stress across all parts of your body.

While your therapist will be able to tailor your session to your needs, a full-body massage typically covers:

  • Your head, including the temples, crown, scalp and occipital muscles (at the back of your head).
  • Your neck, including the nape and trapezius (a.k.a. The long muscles that run down the sides and connect to your back).
  • Your shoulders, including along the collar bones, shoulder blades and upper back.
  • Your arms and hands.
  • Your upper and lower back, an area that commonly holds stubborn tension and tightness.
  • Your legs, including your buttocks, glutes, tights, calves and feet.

how do i prepare for a massage?

Stay hydrated. Hydrating your body ahead of your massage is a great way to ensure your muscles are ready to receive the full benefits of your session.

Avoid eating 2 hours prior to your session to ensure your body isn't digesting food during your massage. Steer clear of any big, heavy meals and opt for light snacks (such as fruit or nuts) before your booking to ensure you don’t feel bloated or sluggish going into your massage.

Remove all jewelry, big earrings, watches, necklaces, and bracelets. These things can get in the way of allowing the therapist to deliver the best experience possible.

Turn off all distractions. That means switching your phone off or onto Do Not Disturb mode, closing down your laptop and preparing your mind and body to receive the benefits of your full-body massage. Remember: this session is about putting yourself first.

what to expect during massage

Before your massage begins, your table will be set up by the therapist. All tables are prepared with clean sheets and extra touches will be added to help you relax and unwind.

During your pre-massage consultation, you’ll be able to chat with your therapist about any particular areas of concern, any injuries or niggles you’re working with as well as any key muscle groups you’d like them to focus on.

Your therapist will leave while you undress and get comfortable lying on the massage table under a sheet.

To begin, they’ll start by warming up your body and will typically start at your shoulders, neck and back. Your therapist will chat with you about what level of pressure you’d like, so make sure to speak up if you’d like things changed throughout the session.

Depending on what areas of your body you’d like to work on, your therapist will then move through your major muscle groups and relieve stress, tension and tightness.

Plus, you’ll usually be asked to flip over toward the end of your massage (but don’t worry, your therapist will keep your modesty preserved at all times).

Feeling awkward on the table is really common, particularly if you’re new to massages. Therapists are totally aware that this is a new experience for a lot of people, and they’ll guide you into an optimal working position.

Such an amazing experience! Relaxing environment, very fair price, the most kind massage therapist, stress relieving massage, and all around good vibes. I recommend to everyone! I had a hard time staying awake because it was sooooo relaxing, she’s amazing. Don’t even question, just book it!

Amazing massage therapist. Very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. She doesn’t rush the massage and did a really great job on my knots and tense spots on my back. Strongly recommend her. Thank you.

She’s absolutely amazing and very professional. This was my first time getting a massage and she made me feel so welcome and at ease. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend her to everyone I know!!
